Best Of Mendoza’s Wine Tourism 2020


Mendoza chose the best of wine tourism 2020. Governor Alfredo Cornejo and the head of the Tourism Bureau, Gabriela Testa, led the award ceremony of the Best Of Mendoza’s Wine Tourism 2020 contest.
Guests, authorities and representatives of different institutions and companies of the wine sector enjoyed the ceremony that recognized the excellence in local wine tourism. The ceremony took place in the Cultural Hall and enjoyed the performance of two ballet dancers, who offered a tango fusion show.
The president of the Tourism Bureau, Gabriela Testa, especially thanked the jury, “who does a very rigorous, professional and honorary work and chose so responsibly the gold that will represent the province in Bordeaux.”
The most important moment of the night came when the presenters announced the Gold winners of the Best Of in the different categories. For Mendoza, the participants were Postales Hotel Boutique (Accommodation), Rosell Boher (Restaurant), Bodega Santa Julia (Sustainable Wine Tourism), Bodega Faraón (Architecture and Landscapes), Harvest Festival (Art and Culture), Wineobs (Innovative Wine Tourism Experience) and Wines and Pleasures (Wine Tourism Service)
 

In Bordeau, the winner was…
Rosell Boher, a resort located 45 km from the City of Mendoza, in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. It is surrounded by vineyards and beautiful landscapes that invite you to live unforgettable experiences at the foot of the Andes mountain range.
The place has a guest house with four spacious luxury rooms, and private vineyard houses with jacuzzi and stove on their terraces.
The restaurant’s menus are prepared mainly taking into account local ingredients and paying attention to seasonal products. They work with a wide variety of producers in the area and also in the country, obtaining fresh raw materials and first level. The food is prepared in an artisanal way, from the kneading of bread and pastry to homemade ice cream.
As for the techniques, it is mostly cooked with fires, grill and clay oven are also used. Inspired by the natural context of the place, they have their own organic garden with different vegetables and fruits.
